Roland Dry is an illustrator/artist and is currently represented by Beehive
Illustration Agency. As well as illustrating for publication he also conducts
self-initiated authorial illustration projects. Roland’s diverse practice ranges
from Children’s Illustration to investigation into drawing approaches. His
work is underpinned by acute observation and draughtsmanship.

Roland Dry has a first class honours degree in Illustration from Falmouth
College of arts and a Masters degree in Sequential Design/Illustration from
Brighton University. Roland was awarded an AHRC research scholarship to
support his MA studies that investigated lavishness, timelessness and the
antiquated in contemporary children’s books. Roland is also an associate
lecturer at the Arts University College at Bournemouth and holds a PGCE in
Higher Education.
