Cynthia received her BA in Fine Art from Columbia College Chicago in 1998. She began illustrating professionally in 2000. Currently she is an authorized Lucasfilm Artist. Her art can be seen at Star Wars.com and on Star Wars trading cards. She began pursuing children's book illustration in 2007 and has studied both writing and illustration at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Newberry Library in downtown Chicago.
