After graduating from Northview High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Dan
attended Michigan State University where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts
degree in Studio Art. Finding a niche in the world of children's art, he's
enjoyed great success and fulfillment illustrating and pleasing art directors
and clients for more than twenty years. Dan is extremely versatile and
reliable, thoroughly acclimated in the world of digital art, and truly
understands the needs and challenges art directors have.

As one recently put it, "Dan is a dream to work with".

In his free time, Dan enjoys cycling the rural roads of Michigan where he's
logged about 10,000 miles over the last several years on his beloved carbon
fiber racing bike, as well as other athletic pursuits such as softball, golf and
wallyball (Yes, there is such a sport, and it's intense). He also plays guitar (so-
so), and has built several acoustic instruments from scratch. He is a member
of the Guild of American Luthier's.
