Bernard grew up in the French Alps. Having grow up in a large family, he had tons of practice drawing for his 8 nieces and nephews. It was time to leave his little mountain village and head to Paris to study Fine Arts. In the city of lights, he met his American wife-to-be. That summer she brought him home to meet her family. He fell in loved with Manhattan.They never left. Bernard has enjoyed working as a freelance illustrator for over twenty years and continues to work and live in New York City with his wife, Jennifer and two sons Félix and Théodore.
