I have been drawing and painting for many years, but it wasn't until I took a children's book illustration class at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, that I found my true passion. Bringing characters to life and showing the reader the charm and humor I see in a story just makes me happy!

I mainly use inks and colored pencil and occasionally I break out my pastels, although I will use whatever makes the image work!

I recently finished illustrating my first picture book titled 'Nan's Donut Dilemma'

I live in Minnesota with my husband, 3 cats and 3 dogs.
