I spent the whole of 2011 working on this fantastic project for Oxford University Press. The first part, Splash Plus A, is out now, the second part, part B, will be published later this year.
It’s an educational pack for the Spanish market containing a workbook, puppets of my characters, stickers, flash cards, a DVD, pop-out cardboard finger puppets, and apron amongst a whole host of other items to help teach English! It was such a great project to work on and OUP were just so supportive and so easy to work for. I can’t wait to see the second part!

Children's illustrator/author Emma McCann is one of only ten winners in the first London Book Fair (in association with www.childrensillustrators.com) Children's Illustration Competition with her 'Fantastic Mr. Fox' illustration.
Over 50 illustrators submitted their work to be judged by Chris Riddell, author, illustrator & political cartoonist for the Observer; Bruce Ingman, author & illustrator and Deirdre McDermott, picture book publisher at Walker Books. Each winner will have their work displayed on a panel in the Illustrator's Corner, a key area of the Children's & Young Adult Publishing Zone at the fair, and a chance to meet up with Art Directors and Editors from major publishers at a dedicated networking event on 20th April.
