My studio is an upstairs room with two gable windows. Ivory tower... or padded cell? It changes from day to day.

I use real and digital tools... photoshop, artpens, dip pens, felt pens, brush pens, whatever works. When I tire of drawing on real paper, I scan and tweak the art in photoshop.

When I'm burned out on the computer, it's always fun to return to real watercolor paper and real pencils, pens and brushes.

My studio furniture is largely home-made. It just works better that way.

The other gable is the digital side of my studio... where the trusty Mac Pro humms away, a lifeline to the world.

My digital tools are two scanners, a wacom, CD burner, digital camera, cinema display, and two wide format desktop printers. I just can't live without all these digital tools now. I live in Adobe Creative Suite. Photoshop, Indesign, Acrobat, Illustrator and GoLive.

Two last things... me... and the cat. She spends her days pondering the mystery of life... striking picturesque poses all day long. She likes meowing to go in and out all day long. Perhaps she's wondering if she really ought to switch to 'less active cat' formula or not. I'd say she qualifies.
