Andy Catling is an English artist specialising in children’s Illustration.

Andy was born in East Anglia but currently lives in Hampshire with his two children who love to sneak into their dad’s room and draw all over his clothes!

At school Andy loved to draw and make comical sketches. He later studied at Norwich school of art where he acquired the skills to animate and digitally render his work.

Andy’s illustrations are beautiful in both drawing and composition. He produces fairytale settings and characters with so much detail. Andy draws inspiration from looking at lots of different children’s books, finding inspiration from the illustrators as well as the stories themselves.

When Andy is not working he enjoys reading historical novels and soaking up stories and ideas.
