Andras Balogh is a children's book illustrator from Hungary and comes with more than 10 years experience in traditional painting.

He studied at the Free School of Fine Arts, Kecskemét Where he received a strong foundation the arts, visual creativity and traditional painting.

Since 2003 he has been an invited member of the government of Bács Kiskun country painter camp.

'It is important to me that I draw characters in true-to-life positures, This is what I see in my children. I look at them when they play, when my daughter sings with her granny, or when my little son toddles after them, always finding interesting things on the ground.'
