Isa Zapata Biography Imaginative. Whimsical. Inspiring. Welcome to the wonderful world of Isa Zapata. Her vivid characters spark the imagination and inspire children and adults of all ages. Her art is filled with characters which are drawn from the people, personalities, and everyday life situations she encounters. As a resident of Miami, she cultivated her talent at the Miami Childrens Museum as part of the museum Artist in Residence Program. Her artwork has been auctioned in galas and fundraising events such as: St. Jude's Children's Hospital Tomorrow Nite Gala, Fundacion Manos del Sur, Misioneros del Camino, Karitas, Young Super Bowl League and other charitable events throughout the community and the U.S. Making fine art affordable to everyone is one Isa's goals. This is why she has created various lines of clothing including: 'Mommy, Daddy and Me' T-shirts to outfit the entire family; along with unique hand painted furniture, open edition lithographs and custom designed murals which are accessible to all art lovers. Isa's corner...is a new addition to the line which features all of the Isa Zapata products in one place. Her enchanting murals can be seen at The Towers of Key Biscayne playroom and she is currently working on three murals for the Cherry Blossom Learning Center located in the exclusive area of The Roads. In the Fall of 2008, Isa was approached by a Canadian publishing company to illustrate the children's book entitled: 'Today I Am Happy'. In exciting news, she has licensed her first 43 images for a multinational company and her art will soon be available as decorative wallpaper, door huggers and trendy t-shirts.
