Born in NYC, I currently reside in Lower Manhattan.

I studied Illustration and Painting at Parsons School of Design graduating with a BFA followed by an MA from Hunter College in Studio Art.

For the past 15 years I have been designing and illustrating children's books.

My illustrations are hand sewn felt figures of plush material over a wire armature - photographed and then placed against a 3-D or 2-D digitally created background.

I have exhibited paintings and drawings at the Elizabeth Harris Gallery, Snug Harbor Cultural Center, the Drawing Center, the Everson Museum and assorted universities and galleries across the country.
