My husband and I designed my studio back in 2005. I have lots of bookshelves and layout areas, and a huge walk-in closet with flat files. Oh, yeah!

I mainly have two 'stations' in the studio:
1. My computer-scanncer-printer area for scanning of work, printing out of sketches, daily communications and social networking.

2. The painting area with a table that can be put away if needed and a super handy cork wall to hang sketches and artwork.

I have highlights and glass doors. I had to get as much natural light in the studio as I could. And the 8 months out of a year when the weather is right here in Phoenix, I get to open my doors and enjoy the garden and it's sounds. The puppy loves having the doors open, too. He's with me all day and has a special corner just for him although he lays down mostly right under my feet.

Hope you enjoyed the mini-tour.
