I studied Textiles at Loughborough, and have had a varied career working as a freelance designer, college lecturer, and agent selling designs in London and New York. I took time out to have a family and it was at this time I started writing and drawing children’s stories for my own children. Having had no formal training in this area I took part time courses in illustration at Chelsea and Putney College of Art in the UK. I am also a keen painter and produce mainly figurative pieces.

My children's illustration is varied in style, and I am happy drawing figures, be they animal, human or other! I love drawing landscapes too, from sea, to city. I am confident working in a variety of media; oil, collage, pencil, pen and ink and Photoshop.

I live in South London Uk with my husband, three children and many animals, all of whom are a huge inspiration...
