 We are very excited to announce Angela Muss as one of Advocate illustration agency’s featured artists of the month. Currently living in Paris, Angela is a Spanish artist who specialises in children’s Illustration. When growing up Angela used to spend hours drawing and she considers her experiences as a child her main inspiration for her artwork. She also believes that having a well known publicist as a father pushed her to be the successful illustrator she is today.

She is a self taught author and illustrator and took courses later on in life in graphic design, photography and photoshop; this helped her realise the mix media technique she applies to her work today.

Angela’s Illustrations are colourful, bold and fun and are characterised by the delicacy and the refinement of collage and textures. When working Angela enjoys listening to good music accompanied by chocolates and a cup of tea!

 Advocate Art Freelance children’s illustrator Angela Muss has four new children’s board books out which have all been featured on Sunshine Smile publications! Congratulations Angela.  These four new titles, released by US publisher Softplay are for babies and toddlers and with Angela’s amazing imaginative and colourful illustrations look brilliant!

Some of these titles are; Sleepy Chick a baby book which comes with fun interactive hand puppets so you can interact with the book . Whooo’s awake? is a book about a baby owl looking for other people who are awake – Angela says was the most enjoyable project of her career. ‘Lift and Look Colours’ Young readers will love to find and learn colours using the soft, lift-out pieces that are featured in this special book. The foil-enhanced pictures are fun and interactive, while chunky foam pieces lift out to reveal more colourful animals underneath. What Goes Where? is a  16 piece puzzle book. These have all been featured on sunshine smile publications website – congratulations Angela!
