I use Painter, a natural-media application, to replicate watercolor artwork and
then Photoshop to give greater depth, richness and special effects.

This means I can provide an illustration with a traditional feel but work
quickly and with great flexibility.

I love working with a narrative, especially illustrating jackets and novels for
adults and children. My favorite subject areas are classics, mythology, sci-fi,
fantasy, horror. In fact anything that involves figures in an atmospheric
setting!

I'm also presenting here a new felt collage style and will be uploading samples as soon as they are cooked!

What The Clients say

Pat is honestly the best illustrator I've ever worked with. She's brilliant, works
with you on ideas, takes a basic brief and comes back with an artwork that
always surprises and amazes me. Her level of detail is incredible and she
won't ever comprimise on quality, she'll work all night to deliver. A sheer
pleasure to work with from start to finish.
Clare Baggaely, Creative Director, Carlton Books

Thanks for sending the illustrations I think they are just brilliant! They will lift
the pop-ups to an higher level and that's exactly what we want.
I'm very, very pleased with these and I cannot wait to see the assembled
mockup.
Kees Moerbeek, Paper engineer.

Everything Looks great! Thank you very much for the work. It's a pleasure
working with someone so enthusiastic and full of energy and ideas. Thank
you as well for being so prompt and flexible while doing the work. I hope you
will be pleased with the novel when it comes out I hope we can work together
again in the future.

I loved working with you, in fact if most illustrators were like you my job
