I have been working on a couple of books with Ladybird, The Three Little Pigs and The Elves and The Shoemaker... Something I'm very proud of as I remember as a little girl copying from these infamous fairytale books and from a very early age wanting to draw. I had no idea what an illustrator was but I wanted my pictures in books and was always making my own little books and comics.
I have also worked with a Canadian publisher, Palimpsest Press, EECI and Futa Fata. I have also worked for Avon and just developed some character drawings for Steiff as well as working with advertising and greeting card companies.
I am exceptionally hard working and I am excellent with time management even with short notice projects.
I graduated with a degree in Graphic Design at the University of Teesside so I have a good understanding about layout design and the flow of a picture book.
I also appeared in the Images 32 book and was over the moon seeing my illustration next to some quite infamous illustrators in the Images 32 exhibition.

My style, I feel is original and quirky. I work predominantly in acrylics and I enjoy using a rich palette of colours. I can develop both children and animal characters well and have the ability to demonstrate good use of character continuity and variation of viewpoints within my portfolio.

My long term aim is to be an author/illustrator as well as working with authors, publishers and advertising agencies creating books, characters and merchandise. I just love to draw and paint :-)
