Linda T. Snider-Ward
In Linda's illustrations, she uses a combination of pencil and watercolor. Her style is consistently linear with a focus on quality drawing. Linda has several picture books in progress. She frequently illustrates for Stories for Children Magazine, and she is a long time member of SCBWI. She has had the pleasure of working with Tome dePaola in two separate SCBWI workshops. Linda has attended several LA SCBWI conferences and two NY SCBWI conferences.
Linda is a prolific artist/illustrator who loves the act of drawing and creating. Her method of working is to develop a value study in pencil first, then watercolor the image. This method is very time-consuming but very important to the integrety of her completed work. Keep an eye on this site as Linda's portfolio changes, adding a new piece each week!
