Fig has been offering advice to members of the Association of Illustrators since 1986. Prior to and for much of that time, she worked as an illustrators’ agent, including several years spent solely repping children’s book illustrators. She lectures extensively on BA and FdA illustration courses throughout the UK and has been a familiar presence at professional practice seminars organised by the AOI, UCAS and The Artist’s and Illustrator’s Magazine. In addition, she is a regular contributor to The Writers’ And Artists’ Yearbook and lends her expertise to the charity, NABS.
