Lisa Thiesing is an award-winning author/illustrator. She has illustrated and/or written more than 40 wonderful books for children. Lisa graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York with a BFA in illustration. Ms. Thiesing also earned her Montessori degree in early education from Bank Street College. This gives her a unique understanding of how to make picture books and 'early readers' that are both fun and educational. She has received many awards and recognition for her work, including the State awards from Michigan and Delaware and a Bank Street Book of the Year.
Lisa lives in New York State with her husband, daughter, dog and cats.
