Ever since she was a little girl, Tara Larsen Chang has been captivated by the intricate illustrations in fairy tales and children's books. She faithfully copied her favorite illustrations from "The Golden Book of Fairy Tales" and Cricket Magazine and continued drawing until she earned her BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University. Her illustrations have since appeared in numerous children's books and magazines. Tara lives near Seattle, Washington with her husband, two children, dog, cat, chickens and many, many shelves of books. When she is not drawing and painting in her studio, she can be found working in her gardens to make sure that there are plenty of havens for visiting fairies.
